The Oaki Chair is designed by Stine Aas for Northern. It is a dining chair that is characterized by the love of craftsmanship and design. The Scandinavian love of design combined with the craftsmanship of Japanese furniture creates this nice result. The Oaki Chair is a comfortable dining room chair without visible connections. The designer set out to conceal the chair’s joins, giving Oaki a refined, uniquely weightless character that looks seamless in appearance. Each leg rises from the floor to the full height of the chair, cradling the backrest between all four. The rear legs are angled backwards from the seat, meeting the floor behind the chair rather than underneath it. They give the chair a sense of movement, making it come alive as it appears to take a step backwards. Crafted in solid oak, with smoked oak or oiled oak finishes to choose from. The height is 75 cm, he is 56 cm wide and the seat height is 46 cm. Oaki is rich in detail, and loaded with character.
