Unika Pendant Design Due de Fonss & Lundqvist Northern

The Unika pendant is designed by Anne Louise Due the Fønss & Anders Lundqvist for Northern. The original design was for the Restaurant Grønbech and Churchill in Copenhagen. The Unika hanging lamps owe their name to their varying thicknesses and imperfections. They are mouth blown and there are no two the same. The Unika pendant is available in two sizes; the small is 13.5 cm high and has a diameter of 10, 5 cm and the large is 20 cm high and has a diameter of 14 cm. Available in clear transparent glass or transparent grey glass. The frame off the lamp is brass and the cord is twisted black, this combination gives the Unika hanging lamp a clean industrial look. Lit or unlit, the Unika pendant adds elegance and lightness to any room.

LED

A LED light puts 90 percent of the energy into light and only 10 percent into heat. A conventional light bulb does exactly the opposite. A Led bulb consumes less power to produce the same light output. This is a considerable reduction in use of electricity and this is good for the environment. And LED bulbs have a longer service life than other light sources. So it’s cheaper and better for the environment to use Led light sources instead of conventional light bulbs. The light source of the UNIKA Pendant is a 8 Watt LED light source corresponding to the light output of a 60 Watt conventional light bulb. The color of the light is 2700 K, what we experience as  warm light. The LED Light source is included with the lamp.
