Carla Floor Lamp Design Gabriel Teixido for Carpyen

The Carla floor lamp designed by Gabriel Teixido is a floor lamp with a top which serves as a side table. This oak lamp is available in two finishes, natural oak or black stained oak. The cover is of linen and is off-white, the lamp s height-adjustable on two levels. In the hood with a diameter of 34 cm is the on off switch which you switch by means of a choir. The lamp is 145 cm high and the diameter of the table top is 60 cm. The Carla floor lamp is the elegant and simple solution if you’re looking for a table and a reading lamp next to your lounge chair.

LED

A LED light puts 90 percent of the energy into light and only 10 percent into heat. A conventional light bulb does exactly the opposite. A Led bulb consumes less power to produce the same light output. This is a considerable reduction in use of electricity and this is good for the environment. And LED bulbs have a longer service life than other light sources. So it’s cheaper and better for the environment to use Led light sources instead of conventional light bulbs. The light sources of the Carla Floor lamp is a 12W LED the light is similar to a 75 W conventional light bulb. The color of the light is 2700K what we experience as a warm white light. The LED will be delivered with te lamp.

He has over 30 years ‘ experience in the trade, has innumerable design creations and major awards to his name, making him one of the most renowned Spanish designers in the industry. Educated at the School of applied arts and crafts in Barcelona and specializing in product design. His main desire in his job is making people happy with his designs.
