Lotek Lamp XS Design Benno Premsela by Hollands Licht

The Lotek Lamp XS was designed by Benno Premsela and is the smaller version of the Lotek Lamp Classic which now is a style icon. This design classic is a versatile lamp. With the lamp there are various posts included which allows you to chouse the height of the lamp  The highest is 94 cm, but you can also have 71,5 cm, 49 cm or 26  cm high. The hood of the Lotek Lamp XS  is a cube of 22,5 cm x 22,5 cm  containing the light source.  This minimalist floor lamp is a must in the house of every design lover. The color of the frame is aluminium.

LED

The recommended LED light source for the Lotek Lamp XS is a 8 Watt LED light source corresponding to the light output of a 60 Watt conventional light bulb. The color of the light is 2700 K, what we experience as  warm light.

Hollands Licht

Benno Premsela

Benno Premsela (1920-1997) was the son of the famous Jewish family doctor Bernard Premsela. He studied before and after World War II interior design at the “new art school”. During the war, he was forced to interrupt his study  In his minimalist work are beauty and functionality closely related. Under his leadership as Chief of the shop window and Interior Department of de Bijenkorf in Amsterdam he realised some spectacular window displays. Benno premsela has designed multiple products but his most famous design is this Lotek Lamp Classic.
