Cestita Bateria Table Lamp Design Miguel Mila
The Cestita Bateria table Lamp is the small version of the Cesta Lamp with built-in Lithium Battery. This makes it possible to carry the lamp to the outside without extension cords. The Cestita Bateria is dimmable and has a capacity of 30 hours on the lowest setting. The highest setting it can light for 5 hours, then he has to be recharged. This design classic designed in 1962 by Miguel Mila has been re-released by Santa and Cole, but now with LED technology and Lithium Battery. This timeless design classic is handcrafted from steam-bent Cherry wood. The handle on the lamp makes it easy to pick the lamp up for movement. The bulb of the Cestita table lamp is made of Opal white glass. The Cestita Bateria table Lamp is 36 cm high and has a diameter of 22 cm and is delivered including the built-in dimmable LED light source.
A LED light puts 90 percent of the energy into light and only 10 percent into heat. A conventional light bulb does exactly the opposite. A Led bulb consumes less power to produce the same light output. This is a considerable reduction in use of electricity and this is good for the environment. And LED bulbs have a longer service life than other light sources. So it’s cheaper and better for the environment to use Led light sources instead of conventional light bulbs. The light source of the Cestita Bateria Tablelamp is a 3 Watt LED light source corresponding to the light output of a 25 Watt conventional light bulb. The color of the light is 2700 K, what we experience as warm light. The LED Light source is included with the lamp.
