Eggy Pop Outdoor Lamp Design Berchicci for CPH Lighting
The Eggy Pop Outdoor lamp is an elegant floor lamp that is perfect for the gardens, terrases or balconies. Designed by Guglielmo Berchicci is the Eggy Pop, the organic and inviting design that is based on the simple and universal shape of the egg. The Eggy Pop Outdoor is Opal White and made from PE, polyethylene, a strong, UV-resistant and recyclable material and gives a soft and pleasant light without glare. You can get the Eggy Pop Outdoor alone or in a mix of different formats apply for a beautiful decorative effect. The Eggy Pop Small is 32 cm and is 22 cm high, the Eggy Pop Medium is cm and is 35 cm high, the Eggy Pop Large is 70 cm and is 40 cm high. In each of the formats you can height choose from 3, 5 or 8 meters. It is also possible to order a mounting bracket for fixed installation on concrete, stone or wood surfaces. In the Eggy Pop series are also a floor lamp for inside and a Pendant lamp available.
LED
A LED light puts 90 percent of the energy into light and only 10 percent into heat. A conventional light bulb does exactly the opposite. A Led bulb consumes less power to produce the same light output. This is a considerable reduction in use of electricity and this is good for the environment. And LED bulbs have a longer service life than other light sources. So it’s cheaper and better for the environment to use Led light sources instead of conventional light bulbs. The light source of the Eggy Pop Outdoor Small is a 6 Watt LED light source corresponding to the light output of a 40 Watt conventional light bulb. The Eggy Pop Outdoor Medium and Large have a 12W LED corresponding with the light sourse of an 75W bulb. The color of the light is 2700 K, what we experience as warm light. The LED Light source is included with the lamp.

Guglielmo Berchicci
Guglielmo Berchicci, born in Milan, graduated in architecture at the Polytechnic of Milano in 1984. His work of architecture and design born from the fascination for the appearing semplicity and complexities of the nature and the life, in their evolution in micro and the macrocosmos. His creations ranging from lighting and furniture designed for renowned Italian and European companies, hand made collection of jewellery, unique design-art pieces.
